No pot can hold me!

We came across a surprise while cleaning the cat-run. This fig had blasted through the base of its pot over the growing season and was cranking into the ground! The only solution was to double pot it until we decide where it will go in the garden.

The great irrigation begins.

I've taken the first step in the grand irrigation project by adding a brass threaded fitting and valve to the water main. Irrigation will be essential for the fernery and needs to be set up well before the plants go in.
