Pruning with a vengance!

Roses must be pruned hard in winter to allow for vigerous new growth in Spring so don't be afraid to get your circular saw out and ignore any strange looks from passers by. In all seriousness I thought this would be the gentlest way to remove such a large branch without disturbing the rest of the tree.
